Centennial Woods, Inc. Company History

Centennial Woods was founded January, 1999 in Cheyenne, Wyoming as a family-owned, “S” Corporation. Its genesis was based upon an agreement with the Wyoming Department of Transportation that authorized Centennial Woods to harvest and replace the uniquely aged, weathered wood found only on snow fences constructed in Wyoming. These snow fences represent literally millions of feet of wood. The wood, predominately, is either Ponderosa pine or Lodgepole pine. It ages to render an uniquely western, rustic wood.

Centennial Woods, Inc. (“CWI”) reclaims weathered wood from snow fence systems through out the state of Wyoming. This wood has withstood many years of severe weather elements found only on the high plains and mountain ranges of this region. Low humidity and many days of strong winds leave a well-weathered, high-quality board that is very low in moisture content and renders an extremely unique, “western-look” patina. This wood has been used for siding, paneling, wainscoting, ceilings, cabinets and furniture. The wood has great appeal for those with discriminating taste and can only be found in Wyoming.

CWI has, virtually, an unlimited supply of aged, rustic wood. Regardless of the interior or exterior application, CWI has always positioned itself to fill orders of any size (a few hundred feet to 500,000 feet or more).

While the Company has tended to focus regionally in the past, it has successfully developed working relationships with several hundred clients and not only ships product to most states, but enjoys off-shore distribution to the far East as well. Among the extensive CWI customer base, you will find individuals, custom builders, architects, designers and restaurant construction groups. CWI’s business is equally divided between residential and commercial applications.

In late December, 2005, 100% of CWI’s common stock was acquired by a Laramie, Wyoming investment group, The Blue Sky Group, Inc. (“BSG”) BSG is positioning CWI and providing the resources to enable CWI to experience dramatic growth in the next three years.
