Product Specification, Statement of Quality

CWI’s rustic wood product is harvested from Wyoming snow fence and is a one-of-a-kind product. Wyoming snow fence, in the main, is constructed in 9 or 13 board configurations on panels which are anchored with 5’ rebar. The wood is natural. The wood does not require and does not receive any chemical treatment or kiln drying. CWI harvests the wood after it has lived as snow fence for 10-15 years. And even though the wood has been repeatedly subjected to the harsh climate of the Wyoming plains and mountain regions, a high quality board exists beneath the surface of the natural weathering. Moisture content tends to be less than 10%. Boards come in one size, 1 X 6 X 16 that enables a clean finished look for external applications. CWI, at this time, does not offering re-sawing or any services that might be considered manufacturing.
